Our founding story: We were originally founded by a duo of Naval Aviators that flew together on the same crew in 87 combat missions in Iraq and have flown and worked together for 20 years. Jon and Glen co-founded the company, then Jon moved into a Strategic Advisor Role and Glen took over as CEO.
Our leadership team: Glen’s Naval service enabled our firm to earn the status of Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Our CEO is a serial entrepreneur with a background in M&A and private equity, health care, and a 23 year career in Naval Aviation supporting Special Forces that offers a rolodex of Federal and DoD contacts. Our Defense Contracting Business Line leaders’ history of multimillion-dollar Department of Defense (DoD) contracting experience makes BVA uniquely qualified as small Prime Contractor.
In our Private Equity business line, led by Glen, we combine our partners’ unique knowledge base to solve complex problems in both buy-side and sell-side M&A, and Investment Banking. Our team has closed $300MM in buy-side and sell-side deals and includes several members with FINRA licenses (Series 7, 63, held with Valdes&Moreno Broker/Dealer) and a CPA to give clients confidence in their partnership with us.
In our Defense Contracting business line, led by Jay, BVA is a US Government and DoD contractor that is a registered Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB, CAGE code 8LLA1) with a public track record of delivering medical supplies during the COVID-19 pandemic. We specialize in healthcare and defense weapons & technology. Our satisfied clients include the VA Hospital System, US Air Force, and Republic Services.
In our Health Care business line, led by Emerson, we are a medical supplies company specializing in the diagnostics industry. We distribute lab supplies, diagnostic testing, and invest in next-generation lab technology.
