Our founding story: We were originally founded by a duo of Naval Aviators that flew together on the same crew in 87 combat missions in Iraq and have flown and worked together for 16 years. Jon and Glen co-founded the company.

A history of multimillion-dollar Department of Defense (DoD) contracting, tech, and biotech experience makes BVA uniquely qualified as Prime Contractor. Our President (Commander Glen Dakan) is a serial entrepreneur with a background in health care, M&A and private equity, and a 20 year career in Special Forces and Naval Aviation that offers a rolodex of Federal and DoD contacts.
In our Federal Contracting business line, BVA is a US Government and DoD contractor that is a registered Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) with a public track record of delivering medical supplies during the COVID-19 pandemic. We specialize in healthcare and defense weapons & technology. Our satisfied clients include the VA Hospital System, US Air Force, and Republic Services.
In our Private Equity business line, we combine our partners’ unique knowledge base to solve complex problems in both buy-side and sell-side M&A, and venture capital & private equity fundraising.
In our Health Care business line, we are a medical supplies company specializing in the diagnostics industry. We distribute lab supplies, diagnostic testing, and invest in next-generation lab technology.
