Dave “Ginger Kid” Winchester is a decorated retired US Navy officer and entrepreneur. During his 22-year Navy career, his duties ranged from operation of a submarine nuclear power plant to ground missions in Afghanistan to combat air missions flying the P-3C in Operation Iraqi Freedom alongside our President & CEO, Glen “Steve-O” Dakan.
After retiring from the Navy, Dave started a successful sign company with his brother. He grew his Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business quickly and has been twice recognized as the Massachusetts Veteran Owned Business of the Year. He has successfully fulfilled numerous government contracts as both prime and subcontractor and has extensive knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
For Blue Venture Advisors, Dave is our Federal Contracting business line Deputy Lead and leverages his network in Boston for our Healthcare and Diagnostic M&A business lines. His knowledge of project management, sales, and government contracting provide critical insight to Blue Venture Advisors’ clients.
Dave holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Old Dominion University. He has over 30 years of leadership and managerial experience.
Dave is married to Ericka, and they have three children: twin boys Zachary and Cameron, and daughter Katelyn and they live in the Boston, MA metro.
